EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Vernon, managing partner of the firm, received an accounting degree from Florida State University. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Florida Institute of CPAs. He has over thirty-six years of professional tax, audit and accounting experience. He has been closely involved with profit and not-for-profit clients over the years and thoroughly understands all phases of their operations. Vernon's primary areas of practice include small business tax and consulting, individual tax and financial planning, and trust and estate planning.

COMMUNITY AND CIVIC INVOLVEMENT

Vernon has enjoyed many civic and community responsibilities. He is a past Treasurer of the Girl Scout Council of the Apalachee Bend. With the Tallahassee Jaycees he served as President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Director, and as Regional Director for the Florida Jaycees. Currently a member of Northside Rotary, he is a Past President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Director of the club. Vernon served the Tallahassee Area Chamber of Commerce on its Board of Directors and Steering Committee. His service to the United Way of the Big Bend includes terms on the allocations committee and the annual campaign.
